Chanel has confirmed on their official Instagram account that Timothée Chalamet has been appointed as the official brand ambassador for BLEU DE CHANEL fragrance, joining the ranks of fellow Hollywood actor Brad Pitt as a fragrance ambassador for the renowned French luxury brand. It was previously reported that Chalamet was seen filming a BLEU DE CHANEL commercial in New York City in April.

Chanel has a history of collaborating with male ambassadors for its new collections. As early as 2010, Pharrell Williams was noticed by the late Karl Lagerfeld and featured in brief fashion films for Chanel’s Paris-Salzburg Métiers d’Art 2015 collection, walked on runways, and even designed capsule collections. In 2019, Pharrell assisted in the creation of Chanel’s inaugural unisex collection, infusing the brand with his spirited streetwear style.

With this appointment, Timothée Chalamet becomes one of the select few male ambassadors to represent the Chanel brand.
