Hublot, a well-established Swiss brand, is renowned for its rich heritage of meticulously crafted timepieces. However, few could have anticipated the convergence of the watch and coffee worlds. In a surprising collaboration, Hublot has partnered with another prominent Swiss name, Nespresso, to create a remarkable timepiece called the Big Bang Unico.

The process of developing this 42mm watch, from extensive research to the final stages of refinement, took an entire year. It showcases a striking green color with a combination of satin and polished finishes. What sets this watch apart is its unique composition, incorporating recycled coffee grounds and aluminum Nespresso capsules. In an effort to promote environmental sustainability, the watch also features eco-titanium, a recycled aluminum cap, and a velcro strap made from recycled materials.

Richard Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, explains, “The Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin is the result of a close collaboration between the product development teams of Nespresso and Hublot, two pioneering Swiss brands established in the 1980s. It took our R&D teams a full year to achieve consistent color uniformity across the watch’s seven different materials, strike the right balance of ingredients, and ensure its exceptional quality and durability.”
