The majority of the colors of SS23’s collection are earth tones, which are reminiscent of the fantasy with a natural theme made to showcase the show. The tree roots were contrasted with acid yellow, deadly pink, rusty orange, and bright blue to portray the poisonous colors, while the tones of green and brown represented the decomposing leaves. Parts hang from the body like vines off a tree, and the model’s motion is accentuated by long sleeves and frayed fabric strips, which like leaves billowing in the wind. Boxy, expansive silhouettes contrast the draped look. The floor-length, brown overcoat clothing focuses on layering and is inspired by forest trees in terms of aesthetics.

The collection’s naturalistic motif is continued by dresses with cut-outs, patchwork, crinkled georgette, lace, and crocheted foliage. Flowers, plants, and tree bark serve as inspiration for textures and details. To generate textures found in nature, over dyed wools are fused with a variety of materials, including metal foil.
