Parley for the Oceans presented its first beachwear collection last year as a culmination of a joint research project that dates back to 2019. While its eight-year partnership with adidas has garnered most of the attention, the organization also maintains a relationship with Dior. The two created brand-new, top-notch yarns and fabrics using ocean plastics and abandoned fishing gear discovered off the coastlines of the Maldives, Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, and other places across the globe. Parley and Dior team up once more for a second “Beach” collection for Autumn 2023.

A variety of weatherproof shell coats, knit vests, seersucker essentials, footwear, and carrying choices are featured in the silhouettes. According to reports, 37 percent of the series’ goods are made using organic GOTS fibers while 59 percent of them use ocean plastic. Unique goods include a partnership with Notox for surfboards and with Vissla for wetsuits constructed from recycled jerseys. The Parley for the Oceans logo and the blue and white Dior Oblique pattern, which symbolizes the ocean, are used on a few items.
